Raven had not been exaggerating when she told Cris how abysmal she was when it came to learning new languages. It turned out that getting the laptop was the easy part. Flashbacks of her days of GCSE French rose back to haunt her at various points throughout the day. She had gone through it once with mixed results. Now she had to contend with it once more. This time however, she had no language proficient classmates and study groups to help push her up to the bare minimum. So she spent the next few days hunched over her computer.
