Ogechi continue staying with her aunty in her grandmother's house.her aunty always take her to farm, market and anywhere she want to go to.ogechi never lack anything under the care of her aunty ..when ogechi got to the age of five her aunty took her to church convention called come friends ,there she reunited with her family . seeing the growth she attended from her stay in her grandmother's house,they decided to take her back so she can be doing some house chores for them.so she followed them home after the convention .when school resume they enroll her in primary school behind their house and it is also where their children are schooling.little ogechi was so happy that she was enrolled in school.they also started I'll treating again they made her do some house chores more than her age , they dnt allow her to feed very well.they beat her in any slight of provocation.one day ogechi saw that her elder sister was making her hair,and beg her sister to tie her own with rubber but when her mother comes back she beat her with cane and use scissors to cut the whole hair, sometimes they will not pay her school fees on time which attracted punishment from school.When ogechi was in primary three ,her teacher flog her mercilessly because they have not paid her school fees which in the process of flogging her cane entered her eye which made her blind for two day.ogechi endured all thing because she have no where to go.
