“All right. You just add a little something to conclude and voila! It’s totally perfect.” Lucian looked sideways at Payton, who leaned over his shoulder, his eyes never wavering from the computer screen. Lucian couldn’t hold back a smile. Payton, the man he loved with his whole life, was such a perfectionist. He’d say something was perfect but he’d keep going on and on about it, re-reading, mouthing the words written on-screen or on a piece of paper until someone dragged him away, kicking and screaming, from it. “You said it was perfect,” said Lucian softly. “Huh?” Payton jerked as if just awakened from a daydream.
