Chapter Thirty-Seven – Elliot
Elliot’s point of view
I watch as Sarah-Sofia and Jaxon disappear up the alleyway once more. Anxiousness swirls in my stomach. I know that our girl has her handgun ready, and also my brother now has one tucked in the back of his skin-tight jeans, and I cannot tell you I like that thought. Still, this is part of who Sarah-Sofia is and it is something I guess I have to accept, even if I don’t like it.
I order a coffee and some of the hazelnut croissants I ordered yesterday, which were delicious, and then connected my phone to the café’s WIFI, and began a Google search for shops that may have what my brother and I needed.
