Chapter 13
It has been an awkward week since I arrived here. Everything is easy enough with Stuart as we have always had a really good relationship. It is just with Mum and Simon that things have been strange around. Mum is trying her best to be around me and make up for the past, and Simon has no clue how to be with me at all. Well, except for him thanking me for coming home to help his mate.
Home does not feel like the right word for here, I was hardly ever able to feel comfortable in this place and feel safe, so no home is not really a fitting term for here. It has gotten slightly easier to be around Mum as the time went on, and maybe I will eventually be able to have a proper mother and daughter relationship with her someday.
I know how much this has affected her. She is so thin now
