I was on the phone with India, watching the game and eating chips.

"So how you feeling?"

"Well my head doesn't hurt anymore. But my stomach is killing me."

"Hae you slept?"

"Yeah, practically all day."

"Where's your boyfriend?"

"In his office, he apologized about our little argument."

"That's good. China's here."

"Really? When did she arrive?"

"About a hour ago."

"I wanna see her."

"How about we all go out. We can go to the movies."

"Okay, want me to meet you there?"

"Come over first. We could eat dinner here."

"Okay well I'll see in a lil while."

"Alright. Bye."

I hung up and put my phone on the charger, I walked upstairs to China's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in." She said a few seconds later.

I opened the door and saw that she was in her cheer uniform, watching cheerleaders on YouTube.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Competition is next week." She said doing a flip. "Practice makes perfect."

"India's coming over for dinner." I said.

She stopped cheering and paused the video. "When?"

"Tonight."

She smiled lightly. "That's great!"

"You've always loved her." I laughed.

"I know, wait until I tell my mom." She unpaused the video. "I'll be done in a second."

"After dinner were going to the movies." I added. "So I'm going to need you to dress nicely."

"Okay no problem." She said doing a split.

Chresanto

I walked in the house around 5:00, I decided to just crack open and talk to Yn. I'm still not gonna turn myself in, but I don't wanna argue with my wife.

When I went inside the house, the kids and babysitter in the living room. "Hey guys, hey Kate."

"Daddy!" Kai yelled happily, she jumped up and hugged me. Usually Ariana would jump in, but whatever.

"Hey Chresanto. How was work?" Kate smiled.

I shrugged. "The usual."

"Hey pops." Jacob greeted.

I nodded. "Sup lil man." I took off my shoes. "Your mother home?"

"Yeah, she's upstairs." Kai said.

I looked at Ari. "Hello Ariana."

"Hi, father." She said without looking at me.

I shook my head and walked upstairs, I took off my shirt and kept on my white beater. I went in the room and saw Yn sitting at her makeup station.

She had on a black dress and black redbottom heels. Her hair was pulled in a tight bun as she put on her MAC lipstick.

"You look great baby, very attractive." I complimented.

She completely ignored me and pretended I wasn't even there.

I groaned. "So Kai is the only female being nice to me?" I joked. "Oh and the babysitter."

She put her lipstick down and grabbed her mascara, untwisting the top.

"I was talking to the guys today." I started. "And they gave me advice. Its kinda dumb but I'm trynna go along with anyway. They said to talk to you. Oh and turn myself in but everyone knows I'm not-"

She stood up and grabbed her phone and purse. She tried walking out the door but I stopped her.

"Where you going?"

She sighed. "I got called into work Chresanto, I'll be back by 11."

"Why didn't you tell me you had to work today?" I asked.

"Didn't I just say I got called in?" She rolled her eyes. "Can you get out my way?"

"Baby I'm sorry about our argument last night." I tried to apologize.

She rolled her eyes. "I'm leaving you." She said folding her arms. "I'm taking the kids, were gonna leave tonight."

I scoffed. "What? And where are y'all going?"

"Away from you." She growled. "I don't want my kids around a criminal and you don't even care that I'm giving up on you."

I stood there, froze. I couldn't believe it. She just said so many hurtful things without even knowing. I slowly got out her way and she left the bedroom, slamming the door behind her. I sat on the bed and thought for a moment. I can't lose my family, I guess I have to do what's right.

Bahja

I was on the phone with Shania, she was telling me what all she had to do based upon her whole STD thing.

"So yeah and I have to take medicine everyday."

"Is it a pill?"

"No a needle, it gets me dizzy."

"Maybe you should take it before you go to sleep."

"I guess I have to start, cause I be at work drowsy."

I laughed lightly and so did she.

"So how's Craig?"

"He doesn't really come out the guest room much. I guess he's still pretty upset about everything."

"He'll get over it. He's such a big baby!"

"I know! Listen I gotta call you back."

"Alright bye."

I hung up and took a shower and decided to do my hair, I was so bored in the house alone. Kamren was at this highschool football game with Jovante and Dejah while Craig was working.

I plugged up the curling irons and turned them up to 450. After that grabbed all comb, brush, bobby pins, and gel.

I went downstairs and looked inside the fridge. I grabbed a pack hamburger meat and opened it, after that I grabbed all the seasonings and and sat them on the counter.

Ring-Ring!

I pulled my phone out my pocket and saw that Jovante was calling me.

"Hey Jo, how's Kam?"

"Some gang members jumped him! He's unconscious"

"What?!"

"The ambulance and police on on their way...but the guys who did it already left."

I hung up the phone and threw it on the floor angrily. Before I could walk out the kitchen the fire alarm started to ring loudly.

I looked around and their was no fire, I ran out the kitchen and saw smoke and fire coming from up the stairs. The whole upstairs was burning.
