India
I walked into the house with a smile on my face, I didn't think I would see Rayan today but I did. And to be honest he looked really good, I seen him on tv and such but on person he looks way better.
"What's got you smiling?"
I jumped up and saw Michael eating watermelon in the living room.
"Oh uh, I just saw someone who I haven't saw in a while and it was nice to catch up." I explained.
"Oh." He said. "Where you been?"
I took off my shoes. "I went to go see that carnival in action." I sat on the couch. "Since you didn't take me I just went alone."
"I'm sorry baby you know I've been busy."
"Yeah I know, I know." I sighed.
My phone buzzed, I looked at it and it was the unknown number. It was a picture of me and Zonnique. The message read ;
You two were friends, you killed her over some guy? Smh
I turned my phone off and stood up, I jogged upstairs into the bedroom and showered. After that, I put on some pajamas and laid in bed.
These messages are getting me paranoid, someone knows what I did to Zonnique. Someone knows I killed her.
Yn
I hopped out the shower and put on my blue onesie. I put my hair in a bun and grabbed a pen and paper, I decided to write Anthony. I know I'm seeing him next week but we need to talk more that just once a week.
I walked downstairs and Ariana was sleep in Roc's arms. Kai and Jacob was playing chess and Bahja was playing with Kam's hair.
I sat on the couch between Roc and Bahja, I put my paper on the table and began writing.
"What you writing?" Roc asked.
"A letter to Anthony."
"Oh yeah. How was the visitation?"
I looked at him. "Marylin was there."
"Your mom?!" He gasped.
I nodded. "In a male facility! I guess they mix up the genders now."
Before Roc could say something back his phone rang. "It's Ray."
He answered it. "Wassup Bro.....What....Are you serious?!...What the hell were you doing at a carnival?....What happened?...Are you serious!....That's crazy......Alright call me tomorrow.....Fashoo" He hung up.
"What was that about?" Bahja asked.
"He said he saw India at a carnival and they were talking." He said.
"What was a grown man doing at a carnival?" She laughed.
I shrugged. "Probably to let China play."
"Nope." Roc smirked. "He said China isn't his child, he's about to quit all forces with Jacole and be single."
Me and Bahja both gasped loudly. "Are you serious?" I said.
Roc nodded. "Crazy right? Jacole really wanted to tie him down."
I shook my head in disbelief, I looked at my letter and started to write again.
Dear Anthony ,
Sup. Something really bothered me when I came to visit you, my mom. Why was she even there? Do she try to hurt you? Is she crazy? I haven't talked to her in years so you know I have a million and one questions. I really want our friendship to work, but I don't know how if your gonna be in jail for the rest of your life. I guess I gotta let that dream go right? Anyway, write me back.
Sincerely , Yn .
Rayan
"I'll be back to get my shit." Jacole growled.
I shrugged. "It'll all be on the porch."
"I don't have no place to go!" She cried. "And what about Chi? You gone leave her homeless?!"
"I'll keep Chi on weekends." I said. "So I'll take her to school Monday and you pick her up. Then on Friday I'll pick her up."
She rolled her eyes. "Do you know how the media is about to take this?"
"I don't care!" I shouted. "That's all you care about is the damn media when I don't give a damn about it!"
She walked off the porch. "Tell China I love her!"
I slammed the door in her face and sat on the couch.
"Where did my mother go?!" China panicked.
"Relax." I said. "Your staying with me for the weekend."
"I don't wanna stay with you!" She shouted. "I want my mother!"
She ran by the door and I grabbed her. "Get your hands off of me!"
"Chill out China!" I yelled.
She stayed quiet and shed a tear, I quickly wiped it off. "Your mom didn't wanna tell you but this a deep secret. I'm not your dad Chi, your dad died."
She widen her eyes. "W-W-What?"
"But it's okay because I still love you." I sighed. "Your still like my daughter."
She smiled lightly. "Thanks." She whispered. "Can I have my phone back?"
I chuckled. "No,but how about we go play some tennis."
"I don't do tennis."
"Basketball?"
She rolled her eyes.
"How about soccer?"
She shook her head no. "I wanna learn to dance."
"Sorry Chi but I ain't got no dance studio." I laughed.
She pouted. "Well I'm going to sleep?"
"Are you hungry?" I quickly asked.
"A little."
"How about we cook? That'll be fun. Come on." I said jumping up.
We walked into the kitchen and I looked into the fridge. "How about chicken wings?"
She scoffed. "How about grilled chicken pitas." She smirked.
I looked at her. "Oh so you wanna make something big huh? Alright let's go."
Yn (two days later)
"We want to have our wedding in front on the White House." My new client Jenna smiled.
"You know you need a recommendation from the president for that, right?" I asked.
"We'll get one." She said quickly. "Me and John will get one soon."
"Well in order for me to make the invitations I need to put the information on the card." I explained.
"You can." She said. "We'll have the recommendation I promise."
I looked at her. "This is a big deal Jenna, you could go to jail for doing this without one."
"Mrs. August, I'm going to have one." She said seriously. "I swear."
I sighed. "Whatever you say."
She started twiddling her thumbs. "Are you going to be here tommorow?" She asked. "Because John is going to be available and-"
"I have a wedding to go to in Compton tomorrow." I said cutting her off. "Sorry."
