He has come across an audio cassette, something he recorded at the Starlight Drive-in, years ago. It is a recording of a Pink Panther cartoon and some concessions ads, and part of a western movie, the name of which he cannot remember. In the recording he can hear Clint Eastwood and some other actor talking confrontationally amidst a commotion; he doesn’t recall what the commotion was— but can hear shouting and gunfire in the background.
