Chapter Three While we were eating, Margo suggested we drive up to the lake and spend the rest of the weekend at the cottage. We have a wonderful camp in the mountains about two hours north of here. Fifty years ago my grandfather bought the entire upper half of a beautiful pristine lake and several hundred acres from a logging company that was going bankrupt. He was in the right place at the right time and had the money to do it. It’s a great place for us to go and play, since the nearest neighbor is at least a mile away and not in sight no matter which way you look. It’s great to be able to do things like that.
