“Please tell me you didn’t kidnapped that child.” Saad ko habang pareho kaming nakatayo at magkatabi kami ni mom.
Both of us are looking at the kid who is playing in the kiddie pool.
“Hindi no! Hiniram ko lang siya. Besides, this is not the first time I took him with me, though this is the first time I brought him in our house.” Nakangiti nitong wika bago ininom ang mango shake niya habang nanatiling nakatingin sa batang lalake.
“Did his parents just let you take him?” I asked with a hint of disbelief.
“Yes! I asked permission from his mother.”
How could someone let their child go to a stranger? Kung ako pa ang ama ng batang ‘yan, hindi ako papayag.
