Day after day….after day, I revisited that forest following the moon girl’s attack on me. While my mother seemed hell-bent on holding to her charge, I could not. It was evident that the girl with eyes of the moon, did reguarly interact with anyone or anything outside of the large four-legged creatures that she surrounded herself with and at this point, I yearned to be the first to break that barrier.  “Christoph!” The sound of my mother’s voice carrying through the yard as I made my steady way across the field towards the forest, granted me pause.
