Lily’s POV
The day without Aries was…nothing.
I couldn’t see anything. I couldn’t hear anything. I couldn’t smell anything and I couldn’t feel anything…at all.
That explosion killed him caused me some severe damage. The bomb was made specially to injure wolves. I was too close to that explosion. It scorched all my bare skin, including my face and all of my hair, which took me everything to get recovered.
Every day the wounds burnt and itched like thousands of ants were nibbling on them. I barely had the strength even to breathe. Cora cried so hard seeing me suffering like this. I myself didn’t hate it though. Actually, I even felt glad that I had to burn and suffer every day. It gave me the opportunity to know what Aries had been through for the last 18 years before I got here.
