Lily’s POV
After handing that little fox to Patrick, Aries and I set off to the Violet Valley to meet the white witch. On the way to the village, I asked him about the reason why Lucy married him in the first place. He refused me bluntly, “I don’t want to talk about that, Lucy, and to be honest, I’d rather you don’t know.”
That’s an uneasy answer, but I didn’t want to push him, so I agreed, “Okay then, but you must promise me, you won’t be bothered by that anymore.”
Aries’s face was pale, but he nodded his head, “I won’t mind that, Lucy, as long as you’re not lying to me.” When he said that, the look on his face was worried and…fragile.
