“Test? What kind of test?” That’s new and sounded exciting. I looked at Aries with curiosity in my eyes.
Aries pondered a while before he gave me the answer, “Well, my friends told me that the witch chooses the one she’s willing to meet by herself. Every visitor comes here must spend a night at the inn of the village. And during that night, the witch will test them by setting up obstacles in their dreams. If the visitor can’t wake up from their dreams on time the next morning, which means they fail the witch’s test. Then the witch won’t see them.”
I widened my eyes in surprise, “Are you telling me that the witch is able to control other people’s dreams? How powerful is she?” I never heard anyone was capable of doing that before. The hope of purifying Aries successfully grew
