It was already past 11 o’clock in the evening. Why on earth would the King want to see me now? I sat up from the bed and looked towards Aries in query. He looked confused too, but assured me with his gentle voice, “It’s okay, Lucy. Just go. You shouldn’t defy the King’s call.”
I nodded my head and got out of bed to get dressed. I hadn’t spoken a word with the King or the Queen since I got back here today. I knew it was utterly inappropriate for a princess who just ran away from her own home. But with Aries in a deep coma like earlier today, I was so angry with the King.
