Chapter 15

Alpha Brandon’s P.O.V

  I didn’t even get a chance to talk, ask who it was calling or even say hello before they blurted all that out and then hung up. I was actually in a good mood today, but after listening to what that b***h Amy has planned I’m savage and want nothing more than to rip her head off. 

  “So that b***h wants to try and come back here to destroy me, my family and my pack, after all these years she still wants revenge. Not a chance in hell.” I muttered to myself, placing my phone down. I shook my head as I walked out of my office and upstairs to our bedroom, where Carla was. 

  “What happened now? Who do we have to kill? Tell me so I know when and how hard I need to train.” Carla said, reading my face and instantly knowing that something was wrong. I stood there looking at her, admiring her beauty, confidence and everything else about her. She had been through so much and now this s**t is happening. I really didn’t want to worry her, but I promised her that I would never keep any secrets from her and I knew that I had to tell ehr, especially as it involved our pack and most importantly our daughter. I took a couple of steps towards her and took her hand in mine, sitting her on the bed, while grabbing a chair and sitting in front of her.

  “Carla, we’re fixing to go through something really bad right now and I know that when I tell you you’re going to be pissed and probably blame me, which I will completely understand, but I didn’t know and only just got the phone call. I honestly don’t know who called and I never got to ask anything or even say hello as they hung up before I could say anything. From what I understand or rather have been told, Amy is going to try and come here to take her Luna crown back. She wants to destroy our family, then our pack and its members, not to mention that there is someone called Priest who is coming for you. He wants to make you fight for him and my guess is for the money…” I said, but got cut off by the sound of my cell phone ringing. I took it out of my pocket and answered it, putting it on speaker.

  “Hello, what more information do you have?” I asked, recognising the number as the same one that called me earlier.

  “Mr. Alpha Brandon, from what I have just heard she has someone watching your daughter. Your whole family is in danger, please beware and I’ll keep you updated.” The man said and then hung up. I watched as Cara got up from her seat and began to pace back and forth across the room, but then she grabbed her phone and put it on speaker.

  “Hi mom, you’re on speaker and we are almost at his territory, what's going on?” Leah asked as she answered the phone.

  “We just got a phone call, Kodi, you need to keep her safe. There is someone after her, after our whole family, so make sure you have lots of guards protecting her until we get there. Let us deal with and kill the threat here and then we’ll come to help kill whoever is after our daughter. Kodi, if anything happens to her I will personally hold you responsible. Is that clear?” Carla said and I could hear the anger in her voice as she spoke.

  “Yes Luna, I understand, but there is no need to threaten me, I’ll protect her with my life. She’s my mate and no one is going to be able to get near her.” Kodi replied and I knew she would be safe in his pack, but wanted her back here with us, where I could keep an eye on her and protect her.

  “Kodi, we’ll hold you to that, oh and that wasn’t us threatening, that was us promising.” I said, but then I heard him gulp on the other end of the phone. Carla hung up and looked right at me, her eyes brimming with angry unshed tears, which made even me scared. When Carla was about to lose her temper or was that savage that she was about to lose it she would start crying and it only frustrated her even more because everyone else saw it as a weakness, but I knew better and saw it as an early warning sign.

  “When is this f*****g b***h coming? She is the reason you treated me like s**t when we first got together years ago, she is the reason we nearly ended up rejecting each other. Do you seriously think for one second that I’m going to let her come into my home and take my Luna crown, my pack and my husband. HELL TO THE f*****g NO!!” Carla said, shouting the last part. I could see her getting angrier and angrier about this, so I quickly got up and wrapped my arms around her, hoping to calm her down.

  “THE SECOND SHE WALKS ONTO OUR TERRITORY AND INTO OUR HOUSE IS THE SECOND THAT THE WAR WILL BE ON BETWEEN HER AND I!! AND IF YOU EVEN TRY TO STOP ME IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!! IS THAT CLEAR?!!!” Carla shouted, pushing me away and storming into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. I knew she was pissed off, but I was glad that she didn’t blame me for any of this. I decided to check up on her and see if she had calmed down any, so I walked to the bathroom, slowly opening the door and walking in. Carla was in the shower and I could feel how angry and upset she was, so I stepped into the shower fully clothed.

  “Brandon, you're fully clothed, what are you doing in here?” Carla asked, looking me up and down, but I didn’t say anything as I pulled her closer to me and picked her up, wrapping her legs around my waist.

  “I won’t stop you, but I do promise that if you don’t kill her then I will. She destroyed me once and there is no chance in hell she is going to do that to me again and definitely not to my family.” I replied, as Carla pulled my pants down, making me have to wiggle a little bit until they were fully down. My c**k was rock hard for the woman in front of me, my mate, my wife and the mother of my child. She was my world and right now all I wanted was to be inside her, so that's what I did. I thrusted my c**k deep inside her as she ripped my shirt open, making the buttons fall off. We both loved how we f****d when we were angry, it was more intense, more passionate and a lot wilder. We were so caught up in each other that after marking each other again we didn’t last much longer, but we were both loving how hard and deep I was f*****g her. I turned the water back on after we had both found our release and put her back down. I stripped out of the remainder of my clothes, tossed them out of the shower and helped Carla wash her back and hair. We showered together and then dried off, going back into the bedroom. We didn’t bother with getting dressed into night clothes and just got into bed, holding each other tightly. There was no way I was going to lose my family over that b***h.
