~CECILIA’S POV~
Though George’s blow is strong enough to throw Dorian away from me, it doesn’t stop him from getting back on his feet. When I am about to run away, holding George’s hand, he grabs my leg and declares, “If you take one more step away out of the room, I swear to you that I will decapitate this farmer friend of yours.”
The threat puts a halt to my movement, and I stand helplessly to receive my punishment. George keeps pulling my hand while claiming, “We will go far away. He won’t find us, Cecilia.”
