~CECILIA'S POV~
Nikolaj shows up after what seemed like fifteen minutes or so. He looks at us worriedly and then asks Dorian, “Why are you holding her hand like that? Did something happen in my absence?”
While I struggled to put into words the craziness that we’ve been through, Dorian doesn’t even attempt to explain the happenings to his younger brother. Instead, he insists, “Let’s go now. We’ve only been waiting for you since like forever. It’s very irresponsible of you to hang out with your girlfriend while leaving the poor Cecilia on her own.”
“Girlfriend?” I ask Nikolaj as I never knew he was dating someone. “Are you going out with someone?”
