~CECILIA’S POV~
“I’ve been looking for you on the campus, but you’re here,” Nikolaj looks worried as he approaches me. “You don’t know what transpired in your absence.”
“What happened?” I ask him about the apparent concern on his face while getting him to sit on the couch and handing him a glass of water.
He takes out a pamphlet from his backpack and hands it over to me, “Take a look at it.”
I see the possibility of a peaceful campus life crumbling in front of me upon unfolding the pamphlet. The piece of paper contains the picture of Dorian and me from the afternoon. Someone clicked it while he was comforting me.
