Chapter Five Nate I angled the plane slightly as I flew through the air, aiming in the direction of Denali, far ahead in the distance. I had the best damn job in the world. I flew planes and helicopters all over Alaska, sometimes for tourists, sometimes for transport, and sometimes just for fun. Statistically speaking, my job was risky. Aviation accidents in Alaska bounced around from year to year, but had hovered at about twice the national average for years. I loved it, though, and the risk was worth it to me.
