Lucas and Anastasia thought of various places where he could propose to Lina and Anastasia was sceptical about all of them. They finally chose the beach.
They sat on the sand, watching the waves roll gently onto the shore.
"You think Mum's going to like it?" Anastasia asked, fiddling with a seashell in her hand.
Lucas nodded, a smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, she's going to love it, kiddo. Trust me."
Anastasia grinned back, excitement bubbling up inside her. She couldn't wait to see the look on her mother's face when they sprung the surprise.
"Alright, here's the plan," Lucas said, leaning in closer to Anastasia. "We'll set up the fire first to make it all cosy. Then, when your mum is least expecting it, I'll pop the question."
