Astrid's POV
"Today is the ceremony. Are you ready?" Alastair looked at me.
"Or do you want me to postpone it?" he looked unsure.
"We will go ahead with the ceremony as we had decided before" I stated.
"Are you sure?" He asked me.
"Yes, I am. I don't want Jasper to be happy seeing that we postponed the ceremony. All the arrangements are done, so there is no point in postponing it now. Also, I don't want to stay hidden. This will give Jasper more leverage to continue doing such things" I explained to Alastair.
"You are right. I agree with you on that" he nods at me.
"Sera will be here after lunch to help you in getting ready. The gown has been arranged by her as well. Is there anything else you need?" he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and gazed at me.
"No. Nothing for now" I
