Astrid’s POV
Elinor used the bubble veil spell. No one can transgress it. I don’t know about Sera. Maybe she could have broken it. I let Elinor do her thing because I did not feel any negative powers when she used her power. However, I was surprised the next second because I did not expect it to be so painful.
Even through my pain, I could see Alastair. He was frustrated and helpless. My scream echoed around as Elinor dug her fingers in my wound. I don’t know for how long the torture continued.
Tears kept escaping from my eyes. My whole body was aching. It felt as if my body was on fire. There was blood everywhere. Elinor’s fingers, which were digging inside my leg, felt as if she was twisting every part of my body.
