Astrid’s POV
I looked around the room after Alastair ran away behind Claire. Everybody was staring at me. It felt awkward. The pack members, among them some were laughing and murmuring amongst themselves while some were pointing fingers at me.
‘Don’t they know it was rude?’
And is this how Alastair wanted to introduce me in the pack?
He left me without even saying anything. He straight away insulted me.
It is better to wait outside then stand here. With that thought, I was about to go outside when I met a pair of familiar eyes. I don’t even remember his name. Giving him an awkward smile, I turned around to leave.
