The next morning, when I returned from the training, Astrid was nowhere in the room. I did not panick at first thinking she might be downstairs. Even though I felt something was off, I first took a shower and then went in search of her as she was not back even after twenty minutes or so.
After a few minutes of searching downstairs, I realised that she is nowhere in the pack actually. I have no idea when she might have left. Is she so upset that she chose to go out without informing me?
Not that I have any restrictions over her going out, but her safety is my priority at the moment as she is the witch. Then there is Jasper who wants to harm her. Not that he will be able to succeed but still I did not want to take any chances.
