Chapter TenMisty fog enveloped Rosa as she trudged down the gravel road toward Basil’s farm. Mutti Noreen must not discover she walked to work since the incident on the bus with Mrs. Winslow last week. Fortunately, her mother-in-law hadn’t seemed to notice Rosa left earlier than usual today.
