“What the hell is going on here?” I shrieked.
“Nothing you should concern yourself with,” Alexandra chided.
I raised a questioning brow at Luca, scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. “I saw Alexandra taking a walk all by herself so I decided to keep her company,” he said, avoiding eye contact. He most certainly was lying but what could he possibly be lying about? Did it have anything to do with the dark figure climbing over the fence?
“I don’t owe you any explanation,” Alexandra added and started to leave.
“If you take another step, I will scream. Nathan would certainly want to know what this stroll in the middle of the night is all about.”
