Nathan’s POV
I have never been disrespected by a woman so blatantly. I should be furious at her stubbornness, but instead I am in awe of her strength and how fierce she is. She reminds me of a firecracker. But at the same time, she was driving me crazy.
“Are you really going to sit there and allow her to disrespect you?” My mother bellowed. When I did not respond, she marched out, making sure to slam the door.
“Aren’t you leaving with her?” I asked when I noticed Alexandra staring down at me.
“Where do all these leave me?” she asked in a low tone.
“I don’t know what you mean,” I lied.
“We were about picking a date for our mating ceremony, now all you care about is Nicole and her supposed triplets!”
I sighed. “The mating ceremony is postponed for now. At least until I find my child
