-Bella- Wild rides, silly plastic prizes, cotton candy, ice cream, and laughing for the first time in who knew how long—it was amazing. Everything Mary had told me about Keith seemed off. He wasn’t the wild, arrogant, and reckless guy she’d described. Instead, he was sweet, caring, and kind. His attention never wavered from me, and he showed genuine interest in everything I shared—my story from last year, my favorite color, and what I liked to eat. He let me lead us around, trying all sorts of exciting things, and it seemed he enjoyed them just as much as I did.
