The next morning

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I woke up from my dreams and looked at the alarm clock, it was 8:30 AM. I looked over to my right and saw Codi sleeping aside me. Last night was such a blur, last thing I remember was coming to my room after we finished watching Frozen. I stood up and stumbled over, my head was pounding. I tried walking into the bathroom but stumbling over every step. I froze and looked at the nightstand, it was a whole bottle of Hennessy and a glass next to it. I sighed, drinking again Zonnique. You wasn't suppose to be doing this. I took a asprin and walked into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and looked in the mirror. I look like a slob. I filthy, hungover slob who cares about nothing. My hair was all over the place, I grabbed a wash cloth and washed my face. I brushed my teeth then hopped in the shower. I let the warm water hit my body slowly. I hummed the lyrics of an old Whitney Huston song and washed my body and hair.

About 30 minutes later I got out the shower and wrapped the towel around my body. I blow dried my hair and dried my body, after that I pressed my hair and put it in a ponytail. I left the bathroom and Codi was awake. I lotioned my body and put on some black Nike spandex shorts and my white beater. I put on my black and white activewear Nike shoes and fed the fishes. After that I grabbed my water bottle, phone, and headphones. I fed Codi and put him on his leash. We walked downstairs, Maria was in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

"Buenos días Azul!" She smiled.

I smiled and nodded, I feel bad sometimes because what if she's saying something nice. I just don't understand what she's saying. I left out the house and began to jog around town, with Codi right beside me.

Breaunna

I didn't get any rest lastnight, I'm so hurt. I feel betrayed and so stupid. I actually thought a long distance relationship will work? I'm so gullible. I got out of bed slowly and went straight downstairs.

"Got any coffee ready Maria?" I asked sitting in stool by the countertop.

"Café? Sí tengo un nuevo lote listo púrpura." She said. She grabbed a coffee mug and began to pour coffee into it.

I grabbed the remote and turned on the tv that's was on the wall. I turned in to the news and grabbed a news paper.

She gave me my coffee. "Thank you." I said.

She nodded and walked away. I took a sip and looked at the news. They were talking about a carnival was coming to town next weekend. I sipped my coffee once more and flipped the page in the newspaper.

New mayor election coming up Novemeber 6! Will it be Kenneth Banks or Richard Moss?

I read, "Moss!" I yelled.

"Sí, el musgo." Maria said, I had no idea what she said but oh well. I continued reading the paper and sipping my coffee when I phone light flashed, indicating I had a new text message. I unlocked my phone a read my message.

I sighed, as bad as I want to call him I won't - I can't. He hurt me, he's not sorry. He doesn't care.

I stared at the ceiling for about 5 minutes, I've been recovering from the whole breakup thing but I'm still kinda hurt about it. It's not easy getting over someone you love, you know? I thought everything was going well between us. I need to get over him though, because obviously he's over me.

I got out of bed and did my hygiene, after that I put on a white crop top, blue skirt, and my powder blue Jordan's. I put my hair in a bun and got on my laptop. I never usually do this, I never thought I would but - it's for the sake of me getting over Craig. I went on www.findmelove.com and signed up. A couple minutes later I had messages from 3 guys.

Samuel Briggs - Hello beautiful ;)

Manny Locks - You are stunning.

Sage Gemini - Wassup ma.

I blushed and answered them all. Samuel was 44 years old, I blocked him really quick. Manny was a sweetheart, and Sage was really hip but cool. This is going to be fun.

I was talking to them both for quite a while, crazy thing is Sage lives in California ; but Manny lives in Atlanta. I gave Manny my number so if I go back to Atlanta anytime soon we could hang out. Me and Sage decided to meet up at Pinkberry yogurt shop. I didn't want the girls to know I was talking to so random guy on a dating website, so I decided not to tell them. I grabbed my keys and went downstairs.

I saw Maria sweeping the stairs. "A dónde vas rosa?"

"Vuelvo Maria." I said leaving out the mansion.

Zonnique

I was in a park, sitting on a bench watching the kids play and eat ice cream. Codi was laying on my lap as I rubbed his fur.

"Sometimes I think of having a kid." I told Codi. "But then I think, I'm a kid myself." I laughed.

"Is this seat taken?" I looked up and saw a tall caramel guy with soft curly hair.

I shook my head no.

He sat by me. "Wassup, I'm Trevor."

"Zonnique." I said.

He had two ice creams in his hand, he gave me one. "Who's this little fella?"

I licked the ice cream. "Codi." I said.

He nodded. "Nice dog."

"Thanks."

He looked at me. "I don't think you said thanks for the ice cream."

I laughed lightly. "Thank you."

He nodded. "New in town?"

"How'd you know?"

He shrugged. "Lucky guess."

We began eating our ice cream and talking, Trevor was a really nice guy. He was cute to, I'm in a relation though, that I need to be faithful in.

4 hours later

Me, Bre, and Maria paced back in forth in the den constantly calling Bee. Me or Bre haven't seen her all morning and nobody understands Maria. We left tons of voicemails on her phone. I sighed and threw my phone at the door.

"She wouldn't just disappear like that out of the blue." I whined.

Bee nodded. "I know, where did she go?"

I shrugged. "I don't know!"

My phone began ringing, I quickly ran by the door and answered it.

"Hello ? Bahja ?"

"Hello Star! It's Iovine."

I rolled my eyes. "Hi Mr. Iovine."

"Everything okay?"

"Everything's fine."

"Okay good, we have to go to Manic Studio 2 hours. A limo will pick you up soon."

"Okay Mr.Iovine, we'll be ready."

"Bye love."

I hung up, "Studio in 2 hours."

Bre sighed. "This is bull crap, how are we going to get ready when Bee isn't here?!"

"Look I don't know Bre but let's just get ready, hopefully she'll come." I said.

We walked upstairs slowly. "Maria if Bee call, tell her to come home." I said.

"No entiendo estrella" She said looking confused.

I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs. I fed Codi and the fishes and went took a shower. After that I put my hair in a messy bun and put on my black and red hoodie, black sweats, and my black and red Jordan's. I heard a doorbell and feet running up the stairs. I opened my room door and saw Bahja.

"Bee what the hell! Where have you been?" I yelled.

"I'm sorry Zo I lost track if time." She pleaded.

"You have 30 minutes to get ready, were going to the studio. A limo is picking us up soon." I said.

She nodded and went in her room and closed the door slowly, where have she been? She hasn't even been in town for a week. She don't know nobody. Something's going on, but I'm not gonna worry about her personal life.

I logged into findmelove and texted Sage to tell him I made it home safely. He was such a gentleman, and he's cute. He's 19 and he works at the mall inside of Game Stop. He has pretty hazel eyes, caramel skin, waves, built body. He was absolutely perfection. We ate yogurt, then he took me to a park, we sat by the wishing well making wishes and talking. I felt like I can feel comfortable around this guy. I blushed lightly and got ready for the studio. I put on my grey sweats, white tank top, and my white high top Nikes. I put my hair in a bandu ponytail and checked my laptop. 1 unread message, I hurried to click it and it read ;

Sage Gemini - Glad you did, I had fun with you today Bahja.

I smiled and replied.

Bahja Rodriguez - I had fun with you too Sage.

"Bahja come on!" Zonnique yelled from downstairs. I rolled my eyes and shut my laptop. She can be very demanding at times.

We pulled up at Manic Studios, it was a huge building. We got out the limousine and saw Mr.Iovine getting out his limo.

"Hey Mr.Iovine!" I yelled.

He looked back. "Girls!" He yelled. "Fascinating seeing you, you look great." He kissed all of our cheeks. "Come in."

We walked inside, the place was fascinating. "Guess who made their first song here?" He said.

"Let me guess, Ciara?" Bre scoffed.

He laughed. "Her too, but also Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus."

We went in the room where the booth was and Mr.Cameron was on his phone.

"Hi Mr.Cameron." We all smiled.

"Hello ladies." He stood up. "Hello Jimmy."

Mr.Iovine nodded. "How are you?"

"Swell." He grabbed a notepad. "I made a song, I was hoping you ladies can get in the booth."

"Who's first?" Mr.Iovine asked.

"Well I was the backup singers to-"

"We perfect being called our names." Bre said quickly.

"I'm sorry Breaunna." He apologized. "I would like Bahja and Breaunna to do the intro, then Bahja do the first verse."

We all agreed. Bre and Bee went in the booth. They did the intro which was simple, then Bahja sung a verse & so did I. So far, that's all we did over and over until it was perfect. I was so tired, but we still wasn't done. Practice makes perfect ... right ?
