1 Year Later

For a whole year, we've been working hard. We haven't gone anywhere and we wanted to give up many times but Mr.Iovine didn't let us. He say you'll get there and be patient, but I can't wait any longer. I'm not even focused on music anymore. I love pets, I've been volunteering at Vets for the past 6 months, because I love being around animals. We can't have animals at the orphanage so I couldn't have one of my own. Today, Mr.Iovine told us to meet him at the Jumba Juice store cause he had 'good news'. Sometimes, I regret being signed to him. He hasn't made any progress that I know of and it's just stressful. Everything else is fine, the girls and I became closer. Catalina is like my Bestfriend now, me and Mattie don't talk. She doesn't visit anymore. Me and Rayan are doing great, he treats me special. I love him, Jacob and Bre hit it off but their taking it slow.

I let the hot water hit my body slowly in the shower. I grabbed the cinnamon scented shampoo and washed my hair. I began to hum the lyrics of our new song were working on called Lover Boy. Bre isn't on this record though, only because it's more of a slow song and raps can't be in a slow song. I turned the water off and put the towel around my body. I looked in the bathroom mirror and began to comb and blow dry my hair. I pressed it and left it straight. I dried off and went in the room. Bee was laying in bed on FaceTime.

"Who you talking too?" I asked searching for my body lotion.

She looked at me. "Chad, he's so annoying." She laughed.

They have been talking a lot every since the day at Poppy's Pizza. I grabbed my body lotion and began to rub it over my legs, arms, and stomach. I put on my deodorant and searched in my closet for clothes.

"We have to meet Mr.Iovine at the Jumba Store Bee, don't forget." I said.

She signed. "Chad I'll call you back, I have to go." She hung up and stood up. She looked at me. "We've been on this stupid contract for a year now and nothing's happened." She whined. "Do you thing we did the right thing by being signed to his label?"

"Well it took Dr.Dre almost 15 years to be the guy he is now. I guess we just have to be patient." I said.

She nodded and went into the bathroom. I put on my acids washed shorts and my white and black yin yang crop shirt. I put on my black sandals. It's the middle of summer, so it's really hot. Bee came out the bathroom with a pink crop tee on that said Class of 2015, black shorts, and her pink sandals. Her wet pink hair was in a messy bun. She looked pretty, she actually looks different then last year. She knows more about the outside world, also Bre. So she changed her appearance.

"Let's go." She said. We walked out our room into Bre's. We knocked on the door and Catalina opened it.

"Hey!" Bee smiled. "Where's Bre?"

Catalina laughed. "In the back." We went inside their room and closed the door. Bee went to go look for Bre.

"Hey Cat." I ran my finger through her red hair.

She waved. "Hey Zo." She grabbed a bag. "Want a bag?"

"What's in it?" I asked.

"Nothing!" She yelled. "I found it in the middle of street." She stuffed it in my hands and began to brush her hair in the mirror.

I smiled and threw the bag in the garbage. "How are things with Harry?"

She shrugged. "I guess it's good. You know he's a freshman in college, so he's really smart. Everything that comes out his mouth I don't understand." She frowned.

"Just because he's a freshman in college doesn't mean he's smart. We'll be in college soon." I smiled.

"He said I was wob knocker." She whispered.

"What's that?" I asked.

"I don't know!" She yelled.

Soon Bre and Bee came over by us. "Ready to go Star?"

I nodded. "See you later Cat."

She waved. "Bye Zo, Bye Bre, Bye Bee."

We all waved bye and left out the room.

Jumba Store

We walked inside and saw Mr.Iovine sitting in a booth on his Bluetooth. We sat across from him, papers were scattered all across the table and a Jumba juice was to his right. We decided to order something while he talked on the phone.

"Yes, they are here. I'm about to tell then the news, we'll be there tonight." He smiled and hung up. "Ladies! How are my upcoming superstars?"

I scoffed. "We see no progress Mr.Iovine." I admitted.

He signed. "I know and I apologize,that's just the music business for you. You have to see where your headed to first before you can take a big step and become famous." He explained.

"What's the news?" Bre asked.

He smiled and clapped. "I have awesome news that will change your lives! You girls were great over the past year, on how hard you've work it's finally paid off! Your moving to California!"

We all looked shocked, moving? Out of state? That's a big step that were not willing to take.

"Mr.Iovine that is huge news." Bee said. "But why are we moving to California?"

"To do what you planned on doing a year ago! Interscope Records is in Los Angeles. We go to LA and you become stars!" He said.

We didn't say anything, we just looked at eachother.

"Now girls I know this is huge to leave your friends and family but LA is the place where it all happens. Trust me, I already have a mansion fully paid for, you girls are going to stay there together, until you get your separate mansions. 3 Bentley cars are fully paid with no car note is waiting for you. This it what you got signed for."

"Mansion? Bentley?" Bre said. She looked at us. "I believe him, this could work. Besides, were trying to be famous and California is the perfect place to start." She explained.

"See! Babydoll is with me!" He smiled. "The plane leaves tonight at 11:00 . I need you girls to pack everything you can and say goodbye. This is your chance."

"He's right. I think we should go." I said. Of course I'll miss everyone but we'll see them again. This is the OMG Girlz time to shine.

"What about Rayan Zo, and Catalina." Bee said. "You'll leave them?"

I signed. "Yeah it's hard, but Bee were going to be stars. I'm sure they'll understand. Just like Craig and Chad will understand."

"Are you in Beauty?" Asked Mr.Iovine.

She signed and nodded slowly. "I'm in." She whispered.

Room

Bee went straight to our room and closed the door. She seemed pretty upset, I can understand why to. She doesn't want to leave somewhere she'd been for years and neither do I, but it's for the best. I went to Rayan and Chresanto's room and Bre went to meet up with Jacob. Chres opened the door and Rayan was playing XBOX Live.

"Hey baby."

He hurried and paused the game. He jumped up and kissed me deeply. "Waddup ma."

I blushed. "Nothing, just got back from our meeting with Mr.Iovine."

We sat down on the floor, he unpaused his game and continued playing. "Oh yeah? What did he say?"

"He said were taking a big step, were moving to California." I signed.

Rayan froze. He unplugged the game and looked at me. "California?"

"Yeah, tonight. We got a mansion and our own separate cars." I explained.

"Are you sure you wanna do this? Leave? How do you know of this isn't a scam?"

I signed. "I trust Mr.Iovine, I believe he's telling the truth. California is a state where everyone become big."

Chresanto looked at us. "All of you girls are going?"

I nodded. He left the room, I looked at Rayan. "Star you know I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you so much more!" I hugged him tightly.

"If anything happens while your there call me, I'm right on speed dial. I'll be there." He said seriously.

"I promise, if anything happens I'll call." I said.

He looked at me. "Can you handle a long distance relationship?"

"I never been in one before." I admitted. "I think we can make it work though."

He agreed, he kissed my cheek. "Go pack, I'll be in your room before you go."

I said okay and left his room. I went too get Catalina so she can come help me pack. I'll miss her so much, she's so funny and stupid. But I like her stupidness.

"So, when are you coming back?" She asked packing all my pants.

I shrugged. "Hopefully soon to visit." I said. I began packing all my body soaps and such.

She signed. "I'm going to miss you." She said.

"I know, I'm going to miss you to." I replied.

"Where's Bee?"

"Craig's room." I told her. I zipped up my duffle bag and grabbed a luggage.

"Hopefully this goes well." I said. "I hope I'm not making a big mistake."

"Your not." She smiled. "Don't you trust Mr.Eyeovin?"

I laughed. "Mr.Iovine, and yeah I guess."

9:30

We a were finished packing, the ride to the airport from here is almost 30 minutes long and we have to catch our flight. Our luggages were being put in the limo as we said our last goodbyes. Breaunna was hugging Jacob tightly. They were doing so well, Bre said she'll try to do a long distance relationship but she doubt it works.

I hugged Myles. "Be good Myles."

He laughed. "I am Star, I promise."

I looked at Catalina who was looking sad playing with her hair. "Watch over her, that's my Bestfriend."

"I promise." He said.

I walked towards Lourdes, who wasn't even looking at me. "Bye Lourdes."

"That's all I get?" She asked.

I smiled lightly and hugged her. "Stay in contact." She said.

I nodded. "I will."

I looked at Catalina again, I walked by her. "I'll be back, before you know it."

She didn't say anything. "Cat I'm going to miss you."

She didn't say anything. "Why aren't you talking?"

She sniffled. "Are you crying?" Her sobs got louder. I hugged her and patted her back.

"I got you something." She whispered. She pulled something from behind her back. "I think you left your bag in the garbage."

I laughed, grabbed the dirty grocery bag and hugged her.

"I'm going to miss you so much Star!" She cried.

"Don't make me cry." I whispered. "Every been to New York?" I asked.

She shook her head no. "I'll take you, one day."

"Ladies, wrap this up!" Mr.Iovine yelled. "Time check."

I kissed Rayan deeply. "I love you." He said looking into my eyes.

"I love you, so much more." I whispered.

"Come on girls!" Mr.Iovine whined.

I pulled away and began to walk outside with Bre, Bee, and Mr.Iovine aside of me.

"Soon, you girls can fly them out to LA with us, I promise." He said.

I looked back one last time, goodbye Morris.
