I woke up slowly, I looked around my area. I wasn't in my bed, I sat up quickly and saw Rayan grabbing some textbooks and a computer.
"Hey sleepy head." He smiled.
"Where you going?" I croaked.
He laughed silently. "My classes are starting."
I frowned. "When will you be back?"
He looked at me and sighed. "Look Star, I have school and your music career is starting. Maybe you should just go home. Alright?"
I nodded slowly. "Okay."
I got out of his bed slowly and put on my shoes along with my jacket. I picked up my phone and purse and went by the dorm door.
"Bye." I whispered.
He kissed my cheek. "I'll call you later."
I walked out his dorm and walked down the halls and went into the elevator. I went to the main floor and left through the double doors. I walked to the back on the university and got in my car. I sighed and checked my phone.
4 missed calls from Bre.
I put my phone down and started the ignition, I'll see her when I get home.

I woke up slowly and yawned. I looked over at the time, 9:30. I got up slowly and looked on my calendar. Today we have to go to the studio and we have to be on Late Nights with Kelley. It's a popular television show that comes on at 11:30 every night. I grabbed my phone and texted Sage.

I may seem star struck, but I'm not. I'm just excited about the come up with Sage. I walked in my bathroom and turned on the light. I turned on the shower and started to take off my clothes, I hopped in and washed my body along with my hair. 20 minutes later I got out and put on my black yoga pants, grey Nirvana tee with black letters, and my grey Uggs. I flat ironed my hair and went downstairs, Maria was cooking breakfast and Bre was at the table.
"Your up?" She asked drinking her coffee.
I nodded. "Maria me puede hacer un poco de café por favor?" I sat down next to Bre.
Maria nodded. "Sí viene enseguida." She went by the coffee machine and began starting it up.
"I'm thinking about making Maria taking English classes, it'll be good for me and Zo." Bre explained.
I laughed lightly. "Maybe Maria will like that to." She handed me a cup of coffee. "Gracias."
Bre was watching CNN, I looked at the tv. "Still talking about the plane?" I asked sipping my coffee.
"Nope." She sighed. "Finally."
No injuries were reported, however the tremor displaced at least 50 residents in Fullerton, about 5 miles (8 km) from the epicenter, because of minor damage.
"What are they talking about?" I asked.
"A earthquake hit Los Angeles yesterday, but that's strange because I haven't felt a thing. It didn't even come our way." She said sounding confused.
I nodded. "It sure didn't. What time did it happen?" I asked.
"4 in the afternoon."
Before I could reply back to Bre, my phone vibrated indicating I had a message. I opened it quickly, smiling hoping it was Sage - but it wasn't.
Chad❤️ - Well hello Bahja....
I gasped, I totally forgot he was in town, I've been so caught up. I quickly called him , no answer. He texted me again.
Chad❤️ - I'm in class, can't talk.
Me - I'm so sorry Chad :( forgive me?
Chad❤️ - Maybe, ttyl.
I sighed. I hope he forgives me, it was a honest mistake. The front door opened and closed, it was Zo. She walked upstairs slowly without saying a word, she's been acting so strange lately. Maybe because of the whole college incident.

I walked upstairs to my room and took off my shoes. I sighed loudly and Codi jumped onto me.
"Not now Codi." I whined.
He kept licking my face and jumping up and down on my stomach. I smiled lightly and kissed the tip of his ear. I looked on my calendar on my wall and saw that we had to be at the studio in less than 30 minutes.
I groaned loudly and sat up. I walked to my bathroom and showered, after that I put on my red Adidas sweatpants, white crop tee, and my all white Nike hightops. I left my hair in a ponytail and put on some red lipstick I bought from MAC. I put on my sunglasses and grabbed my computer and put it in my black Adidas duffle bag that had extra clothes, makeup, and such in it. I walked downstairs and saw the limo in the driveway.
"Come on girls!" I yelled. "Limos here."
We all walked outside and into the limo.
"Goodmorning Kevin." Bre smiled.
"Morning ladies!" He said back. "Your manager told me to drop you off at Mr.Cameron's studio, correct?"
"Correct." We all said.
I pulled out my phone and checked my messages.
Ex - Can we meet up somewhere later? Go to lunch? ?

I sighed and replied back to them all.
Me - Maybe...

I dialed Catalina's number.
"Hello?"
"Cat!"
"Zonnie!"
"What you doing?"
"Eating breakfast. I have some good news."
"Spill it."
"I found a small little apartment in the west of Maywood!"
"Oh my are you serious?! Cat when are you moving up here?"
"Tomorrow night, isn't that exciting?"
"Yes! I'm so proud of you. How are things with you and Harry."
"Good, he takes me to a sandwich shop, so I can learn how to make British sandwiches."
"That's nice, how is he taking the whole moving thing?"
"He doesn't know yet, and I'm scared to tell him."
"He should know Cat."
"I know! I'm going to tell him next time we go make sandwiches, anyway I have to go to class. Bye Zonnie."
"Bye."
I hung up and saw we was at the studio, well - let's do this.

I looked down at me phone.

I sighed and put my phone away, I was in photography pro class, writing down notes that Professor Reynolds was saying.
"Motivation is everything." She explained. "Your motivations will determine whether the game is lost or won, long before you register a website or start writing down ideas about what your business will look like."
I wrote down Motivation is everything in bold letters.
"What's another reason why you think motivation is everything Lopez?" She asked.
I looked up while everyone looked at me. "It's everything because it sets the boundaries inside which you'll look for a solution to your problem." I said.
She smiled. "And that's a huge thing to keep in mind, because most people buy into the myth that "working hard will yield results". Right Lopez?"
I nodded. "Right."
I kept writing down everything until a note slid by me. I slowly looked at it and picked it up.
Hi , I'm Willow. Your new?
I looked over and saw a caramel girl, her hair was down with a bang and she had millions of piercings all over her ears. She was pretty though, she seemed creative.
I'm Rayan and yes I am.
I slid it back to her, she read it and smiled and began writing back.

I constantly looked at my schedule, then the numbers on the door. My first class was Geometry, and I couldn't seem to find it. I looked over and saw T with a couple of people. I smiled and walked towards her.
"Hey T!" I smiled and waved.
She looked at me and rolled her eyes. "Hey Cassandra."
"Who's she?" A guy laughed.
T punched his chest. "Shut up Cam she's my new roommate."
"Do you know where Geometry is? Any of you?" I asked.
T sighed. "Sorry I don't take Geometry Cassie, any of you know where it is?" She asked her crew.
"Sean does." Cam laughed.
Sean scoffed. "Shut up Cam damn, I'll take you new girl."
"My name is Cassandra." I corrected him.
"My apologies, Cassandra."
Cam and everyone else besides T started to laugh. "Going soft on us Sean?"
"Not today Michael." He groaned.
Me and Sean walked down a long hall, he was looking at his feet the whole time. "So, how old are you?" I asked.
"21." He sighed. "You?"
"18." I mumbled. "It seems like everyone here is older than me."
"Well, not everyone. Your a freshmen. So of course your going to feel that way. There's plenty of other freshmans who think that to." He explained.
I nodded. "Sean right?"
"Yeah."
"Well Sean, your nice." I smiled.
He smiled back. "Thanks. Geometry is to the right."
"Thanks, bye."

"One more time ladies!" Mr.Cameron said.
I signed, we've been in the studio for 3 hours trying to make this record sound perfect, and it's getting there. Zo went by the microphone and cleared her throat, the beat played as she began singing her verse.
"Do you remember? I was always by your side, you had a winner. You could say with love I was a beginner, don't get it twisted it's a brand new day (ay-ay-ay-ay-aye). You're a loser (you're a loser), I must be blind couldn't see it. Couldn't do right by me, easy to replace you. Now you tellin' me sweet things and you bet I won't fall for it. Now you realize how much you need me." She sang.
I nodded my head, her verse was so powerful. I loved it, she did that. Her and Bee began to do the chorus.
"That's what happens when you don't do right, don't do right. Outta sight, outta mind. Now you mad cause he got all my time (all my time). Now you picture me rollin', rolling out your life and no one's gonna love you like me, I'm something to remember. Finally say goodbye and I got you reminiscing cause I'm something to remember." They sang.
Then it was Bee's verse, chorus again, my verse, and chorus again.
I got in the booth and put in my headphones, I tapped the mic and began my verse.
"And I say, "Yeah, baby, I'm gone", tell Houston "no problem". I say "No goon and no goblins" Yeah baby I'm too nice! The view off my balcony, Babydoll I'm too right, two three's and my Trues nice. Horse shoe, too nice-" I stopped rapping and began coughing loudly and uncontrollably.
"Bre you alright?" Zo asked.
I stopped coughing and nodded. "Hold on a second."
I took off the headphones and left the booth. I coughed again and went into the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and splashed water onto my face.
It was a knock at the bathroom door and Bee came in. "I brung you some water." She said handing me a cup.
I nodded. "Thanks." I took a sip.
"You okay?" She asked.
I nodded. "I'm fine. Maybe I'm loosing my voice, that's all."
She nodded. "Yeah, maybe you are. Well me and Zo are gonna do this chorus once more and I'll be back to check on you okay?"
I nodded. "Alright."
She left and I sighed, I put the water on the counter and cleared my throat once more. My chest started to get this pain, like someone was constantly punching me in my chest. I coughed again but this time something came up, blood.

Catalina.
I left class, my books was hovering over my small body.
"Need some help Cat?" Craig laughed.
I nodded. "Yeah, thanks." I mumbled.
He grabbed 3 of my textbooks. "Where you heading?" He asked.
"Library."
We walked towards the elevator to go to the library. "How did your meeting with that guy go?"
Craig sighed. "He didn't want me."
"I'm sorry Craig," I frowned.
"It's fine." He said quickly. "My dad is letting me move in with him and my little brother until I get everything settled." He explained.
I nodded. "That's good."
We got onto the elevator. "Have you talked to Bahja?" I asked.
He shook his head no. "Zo told me she doesn't want nothing to do with me. So why try? You know?"
I nodded. "I know."
"Of course I miss her." He went on. "I mean, she was the first girl I ever loved."
We got off the elevator and walked to the end of the hall.
He kept talking. "It's like, we had no choice. I can't do long distance relationships, I trusted her - but then again, I didn't. New state, new guys, new girls - if she turns lesbian."
I laughed. "Craig please."
"Sorry." He sighed. "I got caught up." He gave me my books. "See you Cat."
I tried to wave but my books fell, he picked them up.. "Maybe I should actually walk with you inside of the library." He laughed.
I nodded and felt embarrassed. We walked in and he sat my books down on a table. "Bye."
"Bye."
