I had to admit that Janet Roberts was quite intriguing. She had a thing for my house and it warmed my heart in a way that I hadn’t even thought about or considered. The fact that she loved the history – albeit only a few years – was comforting in a way. I glanced over at her as she cut up the vegetables, I had set in front of her. She was telling me all about Zoey and how she had come across the pet that had ultimately saved her life. It was quite an interesting story.
