The room becomes silent as all of us wait for Leon to say something. Among everyone at the table, I was the most anxious as I looked at him. Was he really going to hang me dry and abandon me? It would be a huge embarrassment and Tyler would probably not lete hear the end of it after.

"I would appreciate if you don't let anyone at school know for the time being. This wasn't..."

" That means you are truly dating her? Do you know what you are doing? You're her professor. Not just the university board but the entire world would judge you and destroy you if they found out about you're relationship with her. I get it now. She seduced you. That's who she is. She's a..." Tyler said making Leon hit his hand angrily as he stood up.

" Don't even think of completing that sentence." Leon said gritting his teeth.

He was defending me. Bowing my head down, I smile shyly before looking at John who is sitting beside me. Walking off, Leon leaves me at the table with Tyler who seems stunned at his uncle's sudden outburst. Getting up from my seat too, I get ready to leave even though I had hardly touched my food.

" What are you doing? Let go of my hand!" I shout looking at Tyler as he steps closer to me.

Glancing back, we spot John still eating and I know this might save me.

" Let's go. Let's go, I need to talk to you." Tyler says as he drags me out of the house.

" Fine. What do you want?" I ask glaring at him as he looks around making sure Leon couldn't hear us.

" Break up with my uncle." Tyler says making me laugh.

" You must be mad." I said.

" I am not joking. You better end your relationship with my uncle or I will...."

" You will what? Expose our relationship to the school board? Go ahead. I will also expose everything that happened. Your friend has it. The proof that we were dating. And my pregnancy test from back then." I say watching Tyler become shocked.

" You are bluffing. You bi**h. Are you trying to mess with me or what?" Tyler asked angrily as he pulled me towards him making me trip on my bend my toe hurting myself.

Suddenly the door opens making the both of us shudder as Leon walks out. He doesn't look too happy and I know it's because of me. I had exposed our relationship early and now he was seeing me hiding sneakily with Tyler.

"It's not like that. He... He dragged me here." I say trying to explain things to Leon.

" There is nothing between the both of you now. You better respect her since she is going to be your uncle's wife in the future." Leon said as he bends down carrying me in his arms.

" Are you really going to continue with this relationship of yours? Uncle!" Tyler said as Leon carried me inside.

Carrying me up the stairs, Leon takes me to his room and makes me sit down on the bed as he brings out a first aid kit from his closet. My leg hurts as hell and yet all that was on my mind was this handsome man in front of me. Maybe it was because he was Tyler's uncle. That was the only explanation I could find for being this fascinated with him.

" I am sorry about what happened. I didn't expect that he would come back so soon. I came to give John some gifts I bought him and..." I stop looking at Leon who seems very dedicated to taking care of my foot.

Watching him stand up, I sigh knowing that I had screwed up this time.

" Is that all?" He asked gaining my attention as I look up at him.

" What do you mean?"

"Don't take me as a fool, Ruby. You told him because you want to spite him. Did it work?" Leon asked making stunned.

He was right. I did it to spite Tyler but somehow I felt like a sinner.

" I'm sorry."I say looking down at my hands.

" You're currently injured so I will let this go. Next time"

" Next time what? You'll punish me or something?" I ask smiling as I look at him.

Turning around, Leon backs me as he starts to unbutton his shirt making me stunned. I had already seen just how amazing his body was through his everyday clothes but never had I seen him half naked. Suddenly I become excited rather than stunned. Watching him drop his shirt to the floor, I gasp in shock as I look at him. His back.

"What happened? Who did this?" I ask as I get up from the bed walking over to him.

"I did."

"You what? You mean that you made these lines on your back? But why?" I ask watching as he turns to look at me.

"This will be your punishment. Anytime you do something wrong, you will flog me." Leon says making me stunned again.

Was he the type of men that enjoyed being whipped and beaten up? Although I knew people like that existed, Leon didn't strike me as one of those people. He always had a sad look in his eyes. Like he had some sort of nightmare that he couldn't tell anyone about. He was also being tormented by something and I knew it.

Raising my hand up, my fingers move along the hard rock muscles of his chest down to his abs. He was a walking perfect creation. Then again, maybe it was because the only man I had known was Tyler.

"Why? Why do you want me to punish you? Do you like it?" I ask in a low voice as I look at him.

Watching him catch my hands just as it is about to go down, my eyes try to search for answers through his but it's impossible. He had built a high wall around him.

" I want to torment you." Leon said in a low voice making me gasp.

"Torment me? Why would you want to do that? I haven't done anything wrong to you. Does it even make sense?" I ask rolling my eyes at him when he drags me to him suddenly.

"You torment me, Ruby. Your eyes, your body, your soul. Everything torments me including when you talk to Tyler. Stay away from him or you'll be the one to flog him. Don't worry. I don't derive pleasure from it." Leon says whispering in my ear.

Putting pressure on my hands resting on his chest, I try to push him back but fail badly as he wraps his hand around mine.

"Let go of my hand. I won't punish you. You're even more crazier than your nephew. What? Are you people a family of psychopaths?" I ask suprised as Leon drops my hand all of a sudden.

"Leave. I have to shower." Leon says coldly before walking off.

Leaving their house, I return back to the school dorm feeling very anxious. I had no idea why he had suddenly turned cold to me but I knew it couldn't be a good thing because Tyler was in my class. He would certainly notice it. Just as I had expected, Leon ignores me the next day no matter what I try to do to get his attention. I had left messages on his phone, called him several times and even left a note in my book which was being submitted for his assignment. My book and note had returned back to me and it didn't even seem like he had read the note.

"Ruby! Are you going to eat or what?" Some girls ask gaining my attention.

They were Jessica, Kylie and Helen. Ever since the school had started, they had been the ones that kept me company while my best friend, Rebecca wasn't here.

"Who is that? She looks very familiar." Kylie says as she looks through her camera to the person behind her.

Turning around, I recognize the women walking into the university. I had seen her before. But where?

"Don't look. She is Mr. Knight's girlfriend." Jessica says making my eyes widen.

Yes. She was Leon's girlfriend.

"I heard that she is crazy. Do you know why most students don't give Mr. Knight gifts anymore? It's because of her. Once she grabbed a student's hair for attempting to give Mr. Knight a teddy bear. She made a huge scene at school." Jessica said.

Even though they are gossiping about something that might actually help me, I don't feel flattered at all. Leon's ex girlfriend had come to see him at school and I can't help but feel uncomfortable. I didn't like it at all.

"I have to go." I say standing up from the table making all of them look at me.

"Where are you going? You haven't even touched your food." Kylie says making me shake my head

" I am okay. I feel very full already."

Running off to Leon's office, I try to enter when a hand suddenly grabs me stopping me from entering.
