ALPHA AXEL (The Curse Alpha)

Chapter 4: Kiss

“NO!” Alpha Tyron screamed so loudly and he touched his chest. I blinked when I felt a force coming into my chest, and I knew it was the effect of my rejection.

Sara was glaring at me, she immediately went to her husband but Alpha Tyron tried to stand up before he glanced at me.

“Z-Zoe,” He muttered my name, and I saw his eyes were bloodshot. I smirked at him when I knew that he was in great pain. It hurts because I have a lot of plans once I find my mate, but if Alpha Tyron was my mate, I would rather reject her or be single forever.

“I hate you all,” I screamed out of my lungs, and I couldn't even breathe properly because of the effects of my rejection of Alpha Tyron.

“I'm sorry, Zoe.” I heard my father say using the mindlink, but I didn't even think about him. I turned my back on them, and I felt lost because I didn't even know where I should go, or where I should spend my whole evening.

“ZOE ALBERT!” Alpha Tyron yelled when I started running away from them. I still can't believe what my father did to me. I know that he knew that I was bullied and humiliated but he still chose to do that.

“ZOE! Come back here.” Alpha Tyron didn't stop shouting, but I don't have any plans to obey him. Now that I am alone, the most important thing on my mind was myself.

I was running toward the woods, and I didn't know where I should go. I felt scared that maybe something bad would happen to me. There are a lot of rogues lingering in the woods, they keep looking for their prey. They didn't have any packs, so they could do everything they wanted.

Hours passed when I saw a cave, so I immediately checked if it was okay. I'm scared that there might be rogues inside. I was about to enter when I was attacked by a black-brown wolf which made me shriek and immediately fall to the ground.

“Who are you?” I roared, my heart kept pumping fast, and I felt my heart was going to jump out of the inside of my rib cage.

But the wolf was waving his tail at me as if he was trying to befriend me. I can't remove my eyes from him, because I am scared that he might kill me. I don't even know if I smell rogue now.

“I said, who are you!?” I yelled again, which made him whimper, so he automatically went back to his human form. He was barely nude in front of me, and I could even see his private part, so I looked away.

Seeing a private part was too normal in werewolves, but not me. I'm uncomfortable when I see someone's d**k, especially if it wasn't my mate's d**k. I groaned in frustration when I still felt that the man was standing behind me.

Shit! Did he have any clothes to put on?

“What are you doing here? And, why are you alone?” I asked him without looking at him. I heard him laugh, and I felt him move.

“Oh, I think I was the one who needed to ask you here. You're a woman, aren't you afraid that someone might harm you?” He said, in a hoarse voice.

“You can turn around now, I am wearing my clothes now.” He added while laughing at me. So, I turned around to gaze at him, but my face turned sour when he was only wearing a boxer.

“Thank you for telling me that you're wearing clothes, but the truth is, it's only boxer shorts!” He chuckled and the corner of his lips rose as if he found me amusing.

The man had short golden brown curly hair, and his eyes were blue as if he was an angel from above. His lips were pink, okay. He's handsome, but I don't find him attractive.

His face looks innocent, as if he couldn't do anything bad to me.

“A conservative werewolf, ha? How old are you?” He inquired, while there was a grin plastered on his lips.

“I don't think that I should answer your question. I don't even know you, and you might be an enemy.”

“Oh,” He acted like he was hurt by my words. His lips twitched, then shook his head without removing his eyes from me. “You're hurting me, Miss Conservative. Okay, I will be frank with you, this forest was too dangerous for you. There are a lot of rogues roaming around for someone like you. I think you should go home to your pack.”

“I don't have a pack.”

“You don't smell rogue, and why would I believe you? If you're lying, you should go back to your pack. Your smell was too strong, and I knew that the rogues would immediately find you. The unmated lady shouldn't wander in the middle of the forest.”

“I am telling you the truth. I was kicked out by my Alpha.” I don't know why I didn't even tell him that I am Alpha's daughter, but to make sure of my safety I needed to keep it a secret.

I know rogues don't have any fear, even if it is Alpha. They have their own rules inside of their heads, and they don't believe that a leader can lead them.

“You were kicked out of your pack. You look so innocent. What are the rules that you disobey which cause you to get rejected by your pack?” My eyes were moist when I remembered again how my father kicked me out of our house. I was slightly mad at him, but I am madder at Sara and Alpha Brandon.

I was still hoping that they continue their wedding, and I was secretly wishing to get my revenge on them.

The man in front of me cleared his throat and I saw his expression soften when he saw that I was about to cry.

“Fine, I will stop asking you about your pack. You look like a child when you cry.” I bowed my head, and I felt him move toward the cave. He entered, and he took a small piece of bread.

“I think you need to eat for now. Here, that's the last piece of bread that I have.” My heart clenched when I was staring at the bread that he was giving me. I don't have any courage to accept it because I know that he will be hungry after I eat this bread. I blinked when I felt the tears were successfully formed in my eyes.

I can't believe that I am experiencing this! There is a lot of bread in our house, and my father didn't even give me a piece of bread or maybe water. Did he feel worried about me? How should I survive this kind of torture?

“I think I can't accept that.” My voice was hoarse, it had been hours since I started walking in this damn forest, and I was like a lost child in the middle of the forest.

The man furrowed then moved his hand closer to my hand.

“I don't want to eat your last piece of bread. I don't want you to suffer from hunger because of me.” My voice was too low, and the man smirked at me and shook his head.

“I can't believe you. If I eat this bread you will die of hunger, but do you still think about me? You can't survive in this forest if you aren't selfish when it comes to food.”

“Is that so? I think I am willing to die. I didn't like that someone would die for me.”

“Okay, I like your attitude. I am Bryan, what about you?”

“I am Zoe.” I simply answered that I was secretly hoping that he wouldn't ask me about my family. But, what's the use of it? I may be the Alpha's daughter, but Sara was the well-known daughter of my father. Sara was acting so kind when it came to everybody, but I am her only exception.

She was an evil sister when it came to me. I can't recall when she started treating me like this, but when we were kids, she was fine with me. We're too close to one another, but she changed. I didn't even know what happened to her, and she was starting to condemn me even at school.

“It looks like you don't want me to know what pack you belong to,” Bryan stated, and I didn't even correct him because he was telling me the truth. What's the use of it if I was kicked out of my pack?

“Are you eighteen?” He asked me, which was very weird for me.

“Y-Yeah.” I stammered because I was too nervous that he might plan against me. He bit his lips like he was trying to prevent himself from smiling.

“You don't need to feel nervous when I am around. I don't even have the slightest attraction to you. If you're thinking that I might harm you, you're wrong.” My cheeks heated up in embarrassment when he finally guessed what I was thinking.

“You're pretty, but you aren't my type.” He added, which made my face scowl.

Bryan and I talked a lot about his pack. His father kicked him out of their pack too, and that's why he said that we're in the same shoe. He told me that I could rest in the cave that he was using and it was fine for him to rest outside.

“Are you sure? You're the one who found this cave.” Bryan shook his head, and then I saw his eyes twinkle.

“It's fine with me. You don't need to worry about me. I am a man, and I can handle sleeping outside.”

“Okay, I think you don't have plans to sleep with me, right? I mean, you don't have plans to have s*x with me?” Bryan's laughter was so loud when he heard my words. I glared at him in humiliation. I'm just asking to make sure!

“Do you want us to sleep together?”

“No! I don't want it.”

“Okay, I will sleep beside you and I'll promise that I won't do anything bad. Unless you're the one who will ask for it.”

“Shut up, Bryan.”

“Oh, don't be mad that I don't want it. Okay, let's roam around together tomorrow.” Bryan lies beside me, and I can almost hear my breathing. I was about to close my eyes when I felt my chest burning, which made me groan in pain. My eyes started to water, and I felt Bryan tapping my face.

“Zoe, what happened?” I saw the worriedness on his face and his forehead furrowed.

“I-I can't breathe.” I stammered and I hoped that Bryan understood what I was going to say.

“Ahh—” My chest clenched and it was so painful. What is happening? I don't understand why I am experiencing this.

“s**t! Don't sleep, Zoe!” Bryan screamed in fear, and he carried on while he was walking too fast. My forehead started to sweat, and my chest burned more and more.

“Ahh— I-I can't breathe!” When I closed my eyes, I saw Alpha Tyron marking my sister, Sara. It was their fault why I am suffering this kind of torture.

I thought that once I rejected Alpha Tyron, I would be alright, but the bond between the two keeps hunting me. I felt cold when Bryan put me in the small lake. I was gasping, and my chest stopped burning.

“What happened to your mate?” He asked me and the worry was too evident in his tone. My breath became heavy, and Bryan began washing my face like I was a kid.

“How did you know that? I won't even tell you that I have a mate.”

“You're tapping your chest as if you experience your chest burning. It hurts, I know that.”

“Did your mate reject you?”

“She didn't reject me, but she keeps f*****g random men and it's torturing me. I hope that she will accept my rejection so I can finally rest.” I was stunned when I heard what Bryan told me. I didn't even know that Alpha Tyron needed to accept my rejection and now, I fully understand that he did this on purpose.

He knew that if he marked Sara, there was still a chance that he would feel the bond. My wolf kept howling, she was hurt by what our mate did.

‘He's a jerk! He knows that we can feel it but he still did.’ My wolf embarked, she grieving and I know that if I felt hurt, it's more painful for her.

‘I'm sorry, my wolf.’

‘Tsk. You don't need to feel sorry for me. I was hurt, yes, hurt, but I still can't forget that he tried to force you to have s*x with him.’

‘He's an ass! I can't believe that he was an Alpha.’

‘Yeah, me too. I hope once we see him again, we can kick his freaking balls.’ I agreed with her, I wish to.

“I'm sorry to hear that, Bryan. It's too painful for this bond.” Bryan makes a face and I find it funny. He lifted me and went back to the cave.

“You should change first. I don't want you to get sick.” Bryan left me in the cave but he gave me a pair of clothes that I needed to wear. After I put his clothes on, I stopped when I saw a little key. I was about to pick it but Bryan surprised me.

“s**t! Stop doing that!” I complained. Bryan and I tried to sleep, and I fell asleep so fast. But, I woke up when I heard a loud howling, which frightened me. Bryan's eyes widened when we heard a lot of howling.

“Rogues.” He confirmed, which made me feel nervous, that maybe, this was the end of my life here in this world.

“We need to run! I think they're trying to find you!” I quickly obeyed Bryan, and we started running, but we stopped when we heard a lot of growling. I saw a black wolf coming towards us, and his canines were showing.

“This isn't good. They know we're here!” Bryan said. He pulled me, then we started running as fast as I could. I watched him shift into his werewolf form, and I did the same.

I heard the footsteps, and I felt more anxious that the sound of growling was too near to me.

“Don't you dare look back, Zoe?” Bryan was checking on me when a black wolf attacked him. He was tossed into the tree.

“Bryan!” I screamed in fear. Bryan started to restrain me but there were a lot of rogues surrounding us.

‘Daddy!’ I shouted to my father using the mind link. I know he won't hear me calling his name. But, I think this will be my last day.

“ZOE RUN!!” Bryan shouted when the rogue rushed towards him. My tears kept flowing down when I started running away from them. There were a lot of rogues hunting me.

“AHH—” I started sobbing when I heard Bryan's shout in agony. And my run gets slow when I feel that I'm losing my friend.

Why does the world not like me at all and give me this kind of suffering? I felt that this world didn't want me to be happy with my loved ones.

‘I'm sorry, Bryan, and thank you.’

I stopped when I saw that the direction that I was running was the end. My wolf was too fast to stop and my heart was thumping fast there, so I almost ended up living there. I looked down, and I saw the edge of the cliff.

I shrieked when I heard thunder strike one of the trees. I saw the trees burning, and the rain started falling.

‘Daddy, I loved you. Please, help me.’ I kept asking for my father's help but I knew he couldn't hear it.

The rogues got back to their human forms and they were all naked while they were walking slowly closer to me. I was about to step back when my knees turned to jelly, and I was frightened when I looked down at the edge again.

“Don't you dare go near me!” I cried, my tears weren't visible because the rain was too heavy. I blinked when I almost didn't see them.

“The little wolf was scared. Don't you think that we would be scared if we jumped on the cliff? We wanted you to die, and we need your body for our food.” I was back in my human form, and I even saw the lust in their eyes.

“I think we can play with her before we kill her.”

“I don't think so. She needed her body on the spot.” My head was full of confusion, and it looked like someone wanted me dead.

“Okay, what about if we f**k her first before we murder her? Their pack have already kicked her out of their pack, so I think they aren't worried about her.”

Shit! They all knew my identity! I know they're rogues because of their smell. But how did they know me?

“Okay.” The man agreed to their plan, and they all started to walk at the same time.

“HELP ME!!” I panicked and the men laughed at me. My eyes widened when I accidentally stepped back, which caused me to go down a cliff.

‘Daddy! I don't want to die.’

I heard the men groan and I saw a human figure jump onto the cliff before my body went into the water. I slowly drowned, and I saw someone swim toward me.

My mouth opened and I felt the salty water go into my body. I gasped when I couldn't breathe anymore, and the man who had a mask on his face was trying to save me.

‘MATE!!’ My wolf roared, and before I lost consciousness, the man pulled my neck and then kissed me.
