CHAPTER 6

MAXWELL

I just woke up from my nap and heard the front door open. Guess mom is home. I get downstairs and see both of my parents at home. I am not that surprised because dad sometimes came home early with mom.

"hey! how was your day??"

"It was great honey"

"I got a promotion. We will go out and celebrate and have a family night okay??"

"okay and also congratulations Dad"

"thank you honey. go wake up your sister and tell her to freshen up and get ready and you get ready too"

"yup"

I get upstairs and knock on my little sister's door.

"Kasey get up baby"

But she did not reply. She is such a sleepyhead. I open the door and see her laying on the bed peacefully.

And see all of her toys scattered everywhere. She is going to get scolded by mom if she doesn't clean this up.

"honey wake up"

I tap her shoulders, she starts mewling and being her adorable self. 

"bwiigg bwworther"

"yes baby"

"what are you doing here bro?"

"Baby get ready dad is taking us out for dinner"

"rweally??"

"yeah"

now lets get you all cleaned up and dressed shall we.

"yes"

"Pick me up" she always does that because she wants piggyback rides all the time .

"ok but not for long because you gotta go and get a shower"

"okie"

"now go"

"okay"

I pick out my outfit and then I pick my Kasey's outfit. And let her get dressed. I go back to my room and get dressed myself. I get my sister from her room and wait for our parents downstairs. I hear the clicking of heel and look up. I see my mother walking downstairs with my father looking absolutely gorgeous. My father also looks sharp. They both look really young for their age, I am so grateful to God for giving me these supportive parents.

"well lets go kids shall we??"

"yes mamma"

"also YOU look really beautiful mommy"

"aww thank you honey"

"your welcome mommy"

   We leave to get to the diner.
