SERGO

946 Words
"Sergo, meet me by the waterfall. Your sister is in trouble. I know she will be there." "Sure, mom, I'll be there in ten." "I also have something to tell you both." "Okay mom." I ran out of the mansion where our lives had been miserable for the past ten years. I hoped mom was finally going to say we were leaving this place for good. I couldn't take one more day on this s**t show. They'd made us omegas. Although mother was a true LUNA to this pack, she was never treated as one. We saw him changing as soon as his second heir was born. He had discarded her and turned their children and everyone else in this damn pack against her. She had never told us about our father, but I guess he was another prick. Mom had chosen to keep her past from us, but all we could see was her constant struggle eating away at her in this pack and her so-called second chance mate. If that's how the mate bond works, I am never going to be happy. I'll just reject them and move on without a care in the world. I'm never having a mate and that's final. I ran into the woods and headed towards the waterfall. It was our special place where we often came to relax, think about the future and why everyone was so against us. I ran up to my mother. "Where is Serenity Mom?" She pointed beyond the waterfall. I nodded. "Follow me." "What happened mom?" "I'm not sure. It has something to do with his beta." I growled. I God I hated that Mathew prick. He was always following her around and making obscene comments towards her. If he's done anything to her, I'll kill him! We walked through the dreaming waterfall. It was so beautiful and angelic here. Serenity was sitting on a large rock like the true Luna she was meant to be. We walked slowly and cautiously over to her, and she sat sobbing. That wasn't good. My mother wrapped her arms around her. "It's okay sweetie, I'm here now." She continued to cry for a while, finally pulling away from the hug. Mom sat next to her in an embrace. "What happened to Serenity? Why did you have a fight with the Beta?" I scoffed, the prick deserved whatever Serenity gave him. "It was awful mom, he said I should respect him. I can't do that, mom, when none of them respect you or any of us. He said we should have never come here." "I see." "I pissed him off, and he pinned me." I looked at her closely and she had handprints around her neck. My fists bailed and my jaw clenched. I'm going to kill that bastard. "He.. he." "Take your time honey." "He touched me." She suddenly blurted out. "He what!" I shouted. "Calm down, Sergo, and hear your sister out." "Fine, but he is dead." "I was so scared, mom. He kept saying he was my mate and I should obey him. He's not my mate, mom, please tell me he's not. He's disgusting, and I'll never bow down to him." "I don't know honey, only you will know that when the time comes." She looked at us both worriedly. "I got so angry mom. I didn't want him to be my mate, I didn't even want one." I guess we both felt the same. "We'll talk about that later on. I'm more concerned about you and what that disgusting man did to you?" I couldn’t agree more. "He didn't get a chance to. I kneed him in the nuts and ran." A broad grin spread across my face. That's my sister. "He ran after me saying I'd be punished for disrespecting him. He pinned me to the ground, something snapped in me and I flipped him over me. I heard his backbone and mom before I ran there. I'm in so much trouble." "No you're not honey. I've made a decision today, one I should've made ten years ago. We're leaving and never looking back. I should never have listened to his bullshit promises. He never loved me. I just kept hoping he would. We need to get out of here before he finds us. We both nodded, f*****g finally were getting out of here. Guess I won't be beating that beta prick to a pulp, but they say revenge is sweet. We all leaped in the air, our bones snapping as we changed into our wolf forms. Yes, me and Serenity had had our wolves since we were ten. We had chosen to keep them hidden. My wolf was pure black and I had glowing yellow eyes. Demon was my wolf's name. He was a strong alpha wolf, as was Serenity's wolf: she was pure white with purple blue paws and eyes to match, and she went by the name star. Mom's big white wolf had ice-blue paws and eyes. She was called storm. Mom had told us many stories about the moon goddess and her being the rare descendant of the moon goddess herself. We had vowed never to tell a living soul, but we had a hunch that someone knew, but who? We made our way out of the gap in the waterfall, taking off running north, not sure where we were heading, but I didn't care as long as we were far away from this territory, its alpha and pack. We felt the bond between the alpha pack and us seated as we crossed the border. We were finally free from the Alpha and The Shining Dawn Pack.
