I sat on my bed, leaning against the headboard and keeping her close to my chest as she sobbed.
“I’m sorry” she whispered.
“For what?”
“For causing so many problems and being a burden to you”
“Princess,” I moved her around so she was straddling me, placing my forehead against hers, “You are never going to be a burden to me and any problems you have I’ll always be there to face them with you”
She gave me a small smile, but would not look me in the eyes.
“Talk to me baby? What’s bothering you?”
