Chapter Nineteen Max Although I sensed Harlow had formed a certain impression of me, it wasn’t what she thought. While I had grown up in a small town, in a not-even-quite middle-class family, it was a bit of luck, some chance, and a lot of hard work that landed me at MIT, which had opened the doors that led to me being the man I was today.
