I don't know why I woke up, but suddenly I was wide awake. I blinked at the ceiling and realized I was sweating and my heart was pounding furiously in my chest. Did I have a nightmare? I didn't feel like it, but there was a very heavy, stifling feeling in my chest.. And somehow this feeling felt familiar. I sat up and rubbed my face, finding it hard to breathe.
"Rose," Noel prompted, sounding like I felt. "Check on her,"
"She is right beside me," I rolled my eyes. "She is righ he..." I turned around and blinked. The bed beside me was empty. There was no Rose.
