"She is very stubborn and hard-headed, Cooper," I couldn't even dare to breathe as I stood outside the door, listening to the conversation between my father and the alpha regent of the Eclipse Moon pack, alpha Cooper Vance, father of Gordon Vance. It wasn't a conversation but rather a very gruesome plot to destroy my life. A plot my own father was part of.
"Then make her agree, Kaine," Cooper said. "This isn't an opportunity everyone gets. Do you want your daughter to get married and then go live in the omega shelter or do you want her to be the luna of a powerful pack like Eclipse Moon and alpha Gordon's Vance's wife?"
