Amber Dawna pulls me down the hall while Victor yells at us. We walk into the emergency room, and Dr. Stevens is frantically working on Corie, who is convulsing. Several nurses rush about as he barks orders. He looks up when he sees us, “Who the hell are you?” He shouts. Dawna pulls me towards Corie despite the doctor yelling at her. She begins to chant, and Dr. Stevens yells and tries to pull her back. Corie’s body is seizing while her eyes are open. There is blood coming from her mouth and nose. “Corie,” I say. “I need you out,” Dr. Stevens touches Dawna and screams in pain. I watch as burns appear on his skin. “I’m going to need more blood than I thought,” Dawna murmurs and grabs my hand. The EKG is beeping wildly and then flatlines, and Corie is suddenly still. “No, she’s d
