My eyes slowly fluttered, letting in small streams of light above me. I could hear voices and voices of people around me, but I couldn't identify them. At this point, I didn't even care to.
I lay there, somewhat numb to the outside world. My body didn't even feel like it belonged to me, and I wished like then, even this pain could stay away too.
But just thinking along those lines brought it back violently, shattering everything all over again.
