"How did you get the bars off?"
"It's a long story, your majesty. Right now, that noise is bringing the guard. We have to find a way out."
"That's easy." King Mormor brushed the dirt off his ragged clothes. "After all, this is my home."
Aislinne adjusted her red robes, wiped a trickle of blood from her nose, then followed the King down the passage, turning left into complete darkness.
The woman walked in total black, unable to see her hand in front of her face. The only navigation point she had was the sound of the man's footsteps in front of her, helped by running her hand along the stone wall. "No offense, your Majesty, but how much time did you spend in the dungeon?"
