Chapter 12
Madison was the first to arrive. She entered the room bursting with energy, like a box of jumping beans. It was hard not to be caught up by her enthusiasm as she wandered around the sitting area, noting the personal touches the sisters had already added to the room.
“So, I must ask, do you love your living area?”
Both girls assured her they were thrilled with it. Madison explained to them the steps she had taken to create the finished results they were now living in. As she walked around, she waved her arms to indicate where walls had been removed, the fireplace enlarged, and the bay window overlooking the back-platform area added.
“There isn’t much of a view out this window yet, but come spring it can be beautiful.”
