Today was the first court hearing, i watched how mother spoke with the lawyer quietly, the pain in her eyes.i felt bad because I had never caused her anything but pain all through growing up, I never appreciated how she had cared for both me and my sister alone without help from anybody. It made me seem like an ingrate and that hurt.
"I think we should go inside now"the lawyer said facing me.
