Bella woke up that morning feeling like a baby, the bed was empty. She sat up and stretched.
"Do not offend those muscles of yours in the name of stretching Bella," his voice said and she then noticed him. Sitting there on the sofa, watching her with these eyes that seemed to always sweep her off her feet, Bella was dazzled.
She managed to breathe out, "Good morning," and he walked over to her, her eyes lit up.
She was looking at him still when he reached out and touched her face, just on her cheek. She smiled and he gave her a kiss, "Good morning sweetheart," he said after the kiss, and pecked her cheek.
