Narrow Escape

At the clinic, Silas was recovering from the gunshot, "What the hell happened to you mehn?"Jake asked. "I got shot!" Silas replied. "By whom?" Jake asked with curiosity. "I don't want to talk about it," Silas replied as he turned and faces the wall while still lying on the hospital bed. "Can I see you for a minute?" Jake said to Christie as they both headed to the hallway.

"What is this I am hearing?" Jake asked with curiosity and his eyes fixed on Christie. "What exactly are you hearing?" Christie replied. "The news is all over the Island that Mike saved the day," Jake replied. "That's right!" Christie replied. "And you believe that?" Jake asked sternly. "I was there myself. The way he knocked out that man was awesome," Christie replied with a smile. "He's only but a jerk and how come he was able to do all that?" Jake asked with curiosity as he stared down at Christie. "I have no idea," Christie replied. "Maybe you should go ask him yourself," Christie added. "If this is true, I have nothing to ask him of," Jake replied.

"Seems like someone is scared already," Christie said as she giggles. "No one is scared," Jake replied. "Mike is still no match with me or Silas," Jake boasted. "And yet he took out an armed man," Christie replied with a soft smile. "Whose side are you on?" Jake asked as he frowns at Christie.

Meanwhile, it was already dark; Mike and Jake were still struggling with the sea creature, "Put us down!" both friends yelled together as they started hitting the mystical creature that looks like a sea serpent. As this was going on, Mike began to choke and suddenly his eyes glowed blue, and out of his eyes came flashes of lightning that made the mystical creature drop them both.

As they both pants heavily Mike exhales heavily as he turned towards his friend Peter, "Are you alright?" Mike asked Peter. "How can I be alright when I am going insane with what I just saw now?" Peter replied. "Where the hell did it go?" Peter asked as he looks around. "I have no freaking idea," Mike replied. "What the hell was that?" Peter asked as he tried catching his breath. "I don't know," Mike said as he quickly stands to his feet. "We better get our asses out of here before that creature returns," said Mike as he leads the way.

As they were seated at Peter's car, Peter fixed his eyes on Mike as he asked, "I saw flashes of lightning coming out from your eyes when your eyes glowed blue." "What the hell is going on with you?" "I have no f*****g idea," Mike replied. "Please tell no one about this," Mike pleaded with his friend. "Your secret is safe with me but you have to figure out fast what the hell is happening to you," Peter replied as he turned his ignition on.

Back at the seashore the mystical creature came out from the water again and changed into a fine handsome young man with blue glowing eyes and long blue hair as he mutters in anger. "What are you doing brother?" a young lady with a shapely figure known as Gold with long mercury-red hair asked as she walked out from the water. "Father won't be happy with this," she added. "For years we have slept in peace until that young man woke us up," said Zeo the brother of Gold. "He has to pay dearly for awakening us," Zeo added. "It was not intentional but by accident. Besides the glittering seashell was not supposed to be at the seashore. The fault remains ours to bear and you know father forbids us to be at the seashore," Gold laments as she beckons Zeo to return back to the waters.

"Where is the glittering seashell now?" Zeo asked. "We are yet to find it," Gold replied. "Perhaps it's time we pay the humans a visit," Zeo said. "Father forbids it Zeo," said Gold as she looks intently at her brother. "If they find out what you are they will kill you immediately," Gold said. "Not when I kill them first," Zeo added. "Please don't do this brother," Gold pleaded as she held her brother from leaving. "My mind is made up," Zeo replied as he gently removed his sister's hand and headed straight to the mainland.

As Zeo walks the street in the dark without clothes on, those who saw him thought he was a mad man and they all avoided him. But a young lady summoned courage and walked up to him to cover his nakedness with her scarf. "What are you doing?" Zeo asked sternly with a harsh tone. "I am just trying to help you," said the young lady. "I don't need your help," Zeo yelled at her as he pushed her away. However, no one who saw this wanted to interfere since they believed he must be a mad man.

An hour later, Zeo was led by his instinct to a wood house in the middle of the Island, kicking the door of the house open, the fishermen who saved Mike quickly turned around swiftly, "What the hell is a mad man doing here?" one of the fishermen asked as they both gazes at Zeo. "You have something that belongs to my family and I want it back now," said Zeo as he gently shuts the door behind him.
