The party had been a huge success. Brad had decorated the pavilion with poinsettias and greens. He had hired a guy to play Santa who, by body type and full white beard, was a natural. There was a blaster that played Christmas music, and great food was provided by a local caterer. Everyone seemed to have had a good time. A couple of the families commiserated with Brad on the difficulty of feeling the Christmas spirit in Florida. Hank had praised Brad for his efforts, which had made him feel good.
