The party had been a huge success. Brad had decorated the pavilion with poinsettias and greens. He had hired a guy to play Santa who, by body type and full white beard, was a natural. There was a blaster that played Christmas music, and great food was provided by a local caterer. Everyone seemed to have had a good time. A couple of the families commiserated with Brad on the difficulty of feeling the Christmas spirit in Florida. Hank had praised Brad for his efforts, which had made him feel good. As the party was drawing to a close, Hank came over to Brad to ask him if he would mind doing clean up alone as he wanted to stop by the show office and drop off the horses’ registration papers and health certificates that his newly arrived clients had brought him.
