Chapter 7

Jenny woke up in the morning having a nice warm feeling. Smiling a little she snuggled closer to the warm wall and tightened her arms around it and immediately felt it's warm arms tightened around her as well. 'Hang on a second. Warm arms?' She opened her eyes with a start only to discover herself totally wrapped up in Jack's arms. Immediately she pushed him back and sat up on the bed which made Jack awake as well. He smiled at her and said in a sleep wrapped voice "Hey honey. Good morning. Slept well?"

"No, I didn't. How can I sleep at all when a monster is sleeping beside me?" she lied glaring at him.

"So now I'm a monster huh? Well if I'm a monster then you must enjoy sleeping beside monsters since you made it pretty clear that you had a sound sleep by snoring so loudly. So don't lie that you didn't sleep at night. Actually, it's me who couldn't sleep because of your snoring."

Jenny looked at him with a horrified look. "What! I.....I snore? N-no way. You ... You are lying." Jack just laughed at her. "I don't snore!"

"Oh, really how do you know?"

"I just know. I don't snore. You are lying. I know you are."

Jack shrugged and tried to get up from the bed but Jenny grabbed his hand. "Wait. Where are you going? You can't just leave now."

Jack got back and pulled jenny near him by her waist and whispered in her ears "Why? Miss me already?"

Jenny pushed him away and glared at him. "You can't leave just now because you haven't admitted yet that you were lying and I didn't snore last night."

"Why would I admit such a thing?"

"Because you were lying."

"No, I wasn't."

"Yes, you were."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No. I Wasn't lying. You do snore. And you don't need to be so offensive about it honey. It's alright. People won't like you any less because of your snoring. So don't worry about it." he said kissing softly on her cheek and getting a glare from her. "And now if you are done being childish then I would really like to get a shower." He said and got up from the bed.

20 minutes later when he got out from the bathroom Jenny was still sitting on the bed lost in deep thoughts. "What are you thinking?" he asked.

"Um, nothing. Ummm... Jack? Can you tell me something honestly? No kidding or lying ok? Did I really snore last night?" she asked softly.

Jack looked at her and then burst out laughing. "You are still on that?" he asked between laughter. Then he sobered and asked, "Why does it matter so much anyway?"

"Just answer me ok?" Jenny snapped.

"Why are you asking me? Don't you know?"

"Are you crazy? How would I know if I do or do not snore in my sleep?" she asked him incredulously.

"Ahha! So now you admit that you did sleep last night!" he said smirking at her. "Now that you admitted the truth then I should admit the truth as well. No, you didn't snore last night."

Jenny let out a sigh out of relief. And then she got mad and launched herself at Jack which made both of them fall on the bed, Jenny on top of jack. "You lying bastard! Why did you lie to me?" she said punching on his shoulder.

Jack rolled over so now he was on top of Jenny and pinned her hands on each side of her. "Whoa relax. What's there to get so mad about? Ok, so I lied to you but you lied to me as well remember? I only lied to prove that you were lying. You told a lie and I told a lie. So now we are even."

"Whatever" Jenny said pushing jack off of her. But jack pinned her again on the bed.

"Get off" Jenny yelled.

"No."

"Why not?"

"You haven't greeted me morning yet. We are not moving from this position until you greet me properly."

Jenny rolled her eyes and said "Ok. Good morning. Now move!"

"Nope."

"Why the heck not?" Jenny asked impatiently.

"I told you. I won't move until you greet me properly."

"But I just did. I just told you good morning."

"Yeah. But you didn't do it properly?"

Jenny rolled her eyes and asked sarcastically "And how do I do it 'PROPERLY'?"

"Kiss me."

"WHAT!"

"Kiss me."

"In your dreams!" Jenny yelled and pushed him with all her force. But he didn't move an inch. "Get off!"

"I will. After you kiss me."

"No way in hell."

"Fine. I won't move then . You'd be stuck here in the bed with me."

"No! Move!'"

"Kiss me."

"Fine!" she grabbed his collar and pulled him closer and gave him a quick kiss barely touching his lips."Here I kissed you. Now get the heck off of me!"

"Now is that any way to kiss your husband honey?" he asked with his lips twitching in a smile. "Here. I will show you how to kiss your husband" he said and kissed her. Jenny struggled her best to break free but he just pulled her closer and kept kissing her passionately. Jenny tried to ignore how good how good his warm lips felt on hers. How good his warm arms felt around her. He then licked her lips and Jenny fought down the shivers that nearly escaped. He then plunged his tongue into her mouth and at that moment jenny lost control. She forgot that this was the jack cooper she hates. Forgot that she was forced into this marriage. Forgot that she was supposed to make his life hell. She forgot everything and just got lost in the sweet feeling of his kiss and her body started responding automatically. She kissed him back. Her tongue moved along with jack's exploring him. She tried to pull him closer and closer as if she couldn't get enough of him and ran her finger through his hair. And then suddenly he pulled back and gave her a huge grin. "That's how you kiss your husband," he said breathing heavily. Jenny was still dazed from the kiss and then realization dawned and she was shocked to death. With one swift movement, she pushed jack off of her and ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

"OH MY GOD!" she thought. "I did it. I actually did it. I kissed him. I can't believe I kissed him. How could I do that? What's wrong with me? I still can't believe that I did it. For the first time in my life, I actually kissed someone. And that's too with the man I hate to the core. Never in my life did I let any men even touch me that way. I've sent every single man running in the opposite direction who has as much looked at me that way. And here I'm kissing my enemy as if my life depends on it. Seriously what the heck is wrong with me?"
